I just got a call from some of my friends and business partners about Dave Crane, and his unexpected post about me on Facebook, in his group “The Life Designers Tribe”

From Dave Crane:

Today’s featured member of The Life Designers Tribe is Simon Hedley. Simon’s an incredible marketer and a genius when it comes to all things online. I recommend you connect and learn…

I wanted to highlight this for a few reasons,
The first is that Dave really gets the idea of designing your life, this is something that I’ve been learning and exploring and inquiring into for a long time, it’s something that the Mayan masters new the “counters of time” and from the best CEOs, to Sir Richard Branson, or the UN setting the vision, the tone, the pace and the rules of the game you are willing to play and operate with is something we all have the choice to do, but don’t always remember.

As our friend Anthony Robbins said a few days ago to 10,000 people in London, if you don’t like the results you’re getting.. then change your state, change your thinking, change your emotion and your actions.. and you’ll get new results..

So.. think about how you can design your life, what would that open up to you?
It’s one of the things we do with all clients and partner at www.PsiPi.com

The other is that it’s a sign of two things..

1) I’m adding value – and that’s always something you want to focus on ..

2) www.WebDomination.com and www.WebTyrant.com works (ps.. talking of which we’re about to start franchising, licensing these out globally)

The most important thing is the results you produce in life, and who you are while you’re doing it.
Focus on B as our friends Jeffrey Powers say, and you’ll find the precessionary side effects remarkable

It’s been an exciting few weeks in relations to www.FreshForms.com with several new joint ventures emerging. What is most encouraging and interesting is the route which has produced these conversations.. namely – Social Media – specifically via Twitter and Facebook.

We’ve been talking about the importance of having web properties in place for long tail key phrases, and a clearly identified Customer Avatar for the marketplace for several years publically, however when the new connectedness of the web occurs, there is still a magical quality.

What has been highlighted is the need for intelligence in the conversation on the web, and also for a rigour around the repetition and attention.

How often have you failed to follow up on a new idea, contact or partner enquiry?
How often have you thought of sharing a great find but not done so?

Some people call what I do – “intuitive networking” – given the almost alchemic ways in which relationships are forged and deepened. It’s definitely one of our unique skills and one which the web encourages, especially after a certain tipping point..

Here’s some highlights:
=> New Site Optimisation Software agreed in principle to joint venture, founded by former Google developers
=> Major Autoresponder company approached us to promote FreshForms in a real win/win/win

You’ll be seeing the benefits of these of late, and if you’re one of our customers it will mean more benefits and cost savings, if you’re one of our “mentors” or “masters” then you’ll be in an even stronger position.

Being open to new enquiries is something that not everyone is able to do, and the need to keep conversations clean and clear. Is there an app for that.. well iPrioritize… is what we’re using and since it’s relaunch is getting a lot of interest..

Overall, consider what you want, and how you can help others get what they want.. In the world of “web” it only takes a second to share a link… and who knows what it may make possible.

It’s a cold Saturday in London, as I write this, but the kind of day, that makes you feel good to be alive, and aware of what’s really important. I spent the morning with my mum, cooking lunch and looking at what the plan was coming.

I caught the trailer for a major TV show tonight, and realised that one of the stars is a friend who went travelling a few years ago. We met when I helped a mutual friend with preparations for London fashion week, and with photography which is one of my passions. It’s funny how small the world can be.

I’m also reminded again of the lesson that seems to come and get real, then often, get forgotten – Everything Happens for a Reason. It’s all too easy to get fixated on the expected results, and what we think will happen.

Today has seen – an email from a business partner on new start up opportunities in London (which is one of our passions), possible venture capital funding for several projects through extended networks, as well as the need to get robust teams in place to run the foundations of what many people are building.

Sometimes we’re ready to take these “omens” or “signs” and run with them, sometimes they just go by. Either way, the fact that our routes to where we are now are filled with chance encounters, twists and turns, is hard to escape. I published The Success Spiral earlier in the year, and so far the first few thousand people to review it have noticed a big impact (though subtle). You can still get your free download at www.TheSuccessSpiral.com

I’m allowing myself this moment of lucid thought, as today is intended to be a “day off”, though as I’ve shared a few times, I don’t believe that “balance” actually exists in the conventional pie-chart hours on/hours off approach.

When you’re playing full out, and able to go with the flow, then you can take advantage of what comes up much more easily. The caveat being.. it’s important to know when to say NO.. and that’s something that many of us, don’t like to do..

WIth that said.. I’m going to go follow up on some earlier commitments and continue to see where this spiral rollercoaster takes us tomorrow..

A friend just sent me this link to a viral comedy videos – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-n4DRcGJQo8

- PS Parental and WORK Warning, the content is quite strong in terms of language.

I found a couple of the ideas quite on point, and hinted to prior dynamics – eg the UK Poor houses and Debtors Jails,
where people that couldn’t pay their bills were jailed, until they could pay their bills.
(and yes.. when in Jail, it was virtually impossible for them to work or earn money,
so they would at that point be stuck)

The good news is that Micro-Finance, and Joint Ventures are becomming more prevalent,
and the use of online digital tools and spaces to form cooperative groups, working
at almost 0 cost to produce real value is now “common” though not common in usage.

Either way, I found the idea of leaving Social Media to focus on what you choose,
and understanding that you don’t have to do anything online,
while remaining with a clear understanding that you, provides people with choice.

For myself, I will keep doing what I chose, what I want and what I feels helps most people
most of the time, and being part of the process of Optimisation that we do as Psi Pi Group.

Looking forward to seeing what we make possible

Simon
