Louis CK – a different view of Social Media and the web

A friend just sent me this link to a viral comedy videos – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-n4DRcGJQo8

– PS Parental and WORK Warning, the content is quite strong in terms of language.

I found a couple of the ideas quite on point, and hinted to prior dynamics – eg the UK Poor houses and Debtors Jails,
where people that couldn’t pay their bills were jailed, until they could pay their bills.
(and yes.. when in Jail, it was virtually impossible for them to work or earn money,
so they would at that point be stuck)

The good news is that Micro-Finance, and Joint Ventures are becomming more prevalent,
and the use of online digital tools and spaces to form cooperative groups, working
at almost 0 cost to produce real value is now “common” though not common in usage.

Either way, I found the idea of leaving Social Media to focus on what you choose,
and understanding that you don’t have to do anything online,
while remaining with a clear understanding that you, provides people with choice.

For myself, I will keep doing what I chose, what I want and what I feels helps most people
most of the time, and being part of the process of Optimisation that we do as Psi Pi Group.

Looking forward to seeing what we make possible

Simon

Meeting Mr Kelsey Grammer (Frasier) backstage at La Cage Aux Folles

They say nothing happens for a reason, and as the exquisite craftmanship of La Cage Aux Folles in New York, delivered “I am what I am” at the end of the 1st half, I was inspired and so happy about the journey that has brought me here.

Being able to see and spend time with the people behind the glitz as a friend not a tourist was really beautfiul, as it revealed so many amazing things and showed that life is really an amazing possibility looking to unfold.

So last night was the “Last planned night in NYC”, But having launched http://everybodytweet.com at the #140Conf, Lynn personally invited me to stay on.. and for what magical surprise.. well this was it.. to cone meet Frasier..

I actually had the most surprising performances and so well crafted,
watching real professionals and masters at their craft was a true blessing.
Especially watched through the eyes of Business, Psi Thinking, Flow, and so many other things
which have made this all possible.

Spell Binding.

It was the kind of evening that can’t be forgotten.
If you’re in NY – go so it..
If you’re not.. you should..

I’ll be going again next week..
