I just got a call from some of my friends and business partners about Dave Crane, and his unexpected post about me on Facebook, in his group “The Life Designers Tribe”

From Dave Crane:

Today’s featured member of The Life Designers Tribe is Simon Hedley. Simon’s an incredible marketer and a genius when it comes to all things online. I recommend you connect and learn…

I wanted to highlight this for a few reasons,
The first is that Dave really gets the idea of designing your life, this is something that I’ve been learning and exploring and inquiring into for a long time, it’s something that the Mayan masters new the “counters of time” and from the best CEOs, to Sir Richard Branson, or the UN setting the vision, the tone, the pace and the rules of the game you are willing to play and operate with is something we all have the choice to do, but don’t always remember.

As our friend Anthony Robbins said a few days ago to 10,000 people in London, if you don’t like the results you’re getting.. then change your state, change your thinking, change your emotion and your actions.. and you’ll get new results..

So.. think about how you can design your life, what would that open up to you?
It’s one of the things we do with all clients and partner at www.PsiPi.com

The other is that it’s a sign of two things..

1) I’m adding value – and that’s always something you want to focus on ..

2) www.WebDomination.com and www.WebTyrant.com works (ps.. talking of which we’re about to start franchising, licensing these out globally)

The most important thing is the results you produce in life, and who you are while you’re doing it.
Focus on B as our friends Jeffrey Powers say, and you’ll find the precessionary side effects remarkable

I’m excited as we move into June/July 2011.

We currently have three applications on the www.Apple.com app store : iPrioritize , Happy Thoughts App , and Stroke The Pussy-Cat .

These applications have been downloaded by literally thousands of people all over the world.

We’ve had feedback from people in many different countries, and opportunities opening up as a result, that are truly amazing.

I most love how a simple idea (www.TheSimpleIdea.com) starts to make this all possible.

We’ve also been able to build joint ventures and strategic alliances which we hope will stand the test of time.

What are the key components?

1) Well first is staying in Postive and not taking things personally - easier said than done – especially as you start to play a bigger and bigger game (though as they say, there is “Magic in Thinking Big”). Happy Thoughts App will help with this and actually was derived and built on some of the training I’d had over decades of martial arts, human potential work and working in banking.

2) Remaining in Communication

When things come up, the first step is to always remain in communication. That means not judging, or making rapid decisions, and also being responsible. It’s all too easy for people to lash out on email and not remain focussed on what actually matters.

Most people are intelligent and self-responsible. There are often more impacts than we realise.

This is improved when people are real partners 50/50 or 30/30/30 or real vested in the outcome. All too often however contractors or service providers are not stake holders in their clients and I think that is a shame.

We are clearer now on how to build apps that get a great result, accomplish their goals and have a legacy and base for the future. We look forward to showing you what we have planned.. with TUI and TUE.. watch this space..

2007 – iPhone

2010 – iPad – 15million iPads sold in 2010 (more than every Tablet PC ever sold!), $9.5bn in revenue over 9month, over 90% in market share

So what does this mean for you?

Does it make you question your focus for “strategy”

The first site to get 1bn users in 12 months.. is it coming?

Monday, 31 January 2011

iPrioritize is an iPad and iPhone App which delivers a simple but elegant productivity tool to help busy business-people to spend their time more efficiently. It enables you to create goals and steps within them, then by answering some quick and simple questions you can rapidly and automatically prioritise items. iPrioritize generates a crystal clear traffic-light system to display the order of steps, so that you know what to do next.

iPrioritize delivers far more than simple task software or to do list software and goes further than many time management tools and productivity apps. It is built on a foundation of real research and proven productivity triggers. It builds on established time efficiency models but is a productivity tool which goes further than the classic urgent/important time management matrix created by productivity guru Stephen Covey.

In iPrioritize, simple factors like urgency and importance are overlaid with real-world decision factors which significantly influence the order in which tasks should be undertaken. Although most business-people would like to think they apply business logic when juggling priorities, the reality is that left to their own devices, people tend to make cursory and very subjective decisions about what to do first, next and last. iPrioritize applies some reality principles by querying not only about urgency and importance but about financial affordability, and availability of resources to get the task done.

iPrioritize is designed as a business tool and it makes you consider tasks in business terms, such as how closely aligned a task is with your business goals. Lastly, it does something no other productivity tool has yet done, by factoring in just how much the user actually wants to do the task. Acknowledging unwillingness and being prepared (in the words of Brian Tracy) to “Eat That Frog” is a major factor in whether a job gets done or is constantly re-prioritised or moved. Busy business people and business coaches alike will find it an invaluable personal development tool.

As well as generating a highly relevant and actionable list of prioritised activities, iPrioritize recognises that things can change, so tasks can easily be re-prioritised as conditions and relative priorities change during the working day or week. iPrioritize may also be a complementary tool for David Allen’s GTD (Getting Things Done) enthusiasts as a way to disentangle their Next Action lists. Although contexts, energy and other factors often drive actions in GTD, there are always times when you simply don’t know where to start.

iPrioritize costs £1.79 from the Apple App Store. More information can be found at www.i-Prioritize.com

iPrioritize is a product of The Simple Idea, part of the Psi Pi Group Limited. The Simple Idea creates tools, applications and platforms which set out to solve simple, obvious and everyday problems for the business, online marketing and web development communities. iPrioritize is a brainchild of Simon Hedley, a prolific web marketing entrepreneur behind concepts including The Domain Dashboard and FreshForms. The Simple Idea, iPrioritize and FreshForms are trademarks of the Psi Pi Group Limited.

I love the anonymous/Buddha quote “Question everything you hear, especially what I tell you”

You should always get your own point of view and find advisors you can trust, and I would love to be one of those if you see value in what I say and my point of view.

You shouldn’t do everything I suggest blindly, but you should consider it as a valid point of view.

Because of the nature of my clients, partners and friends – many high profile speakers, performers, author, corporates, associations and governments – as you can imagine I can highlight them all and have strict NDAs.

However, I hope these recent comments help make you think differently about what I’m sharing…

=> Head of Marketing – Major Training company – when introducing me.. said to two of his VIP clients.. “Simon.. .. mmm.. he’s just a Genius”
which doesn’t explain it that well.. but after a few hours.. they both asked me to mentor them

=> Top Event Organizer, Singer and Performer – “Simon, You are pure energy and your time is priceless”

=> Major PR Company “by the way, i took your advice. I bought a bunch of URLs after checking search stats for european pr, and have a new site up at european pr agency which pops straight up on page 1, lovely” now.. if I could let you talk to her, and my other Web clients, you would have no question that we know what we’re doing but that’s a lot of ifs.

People also ask exactly what it is I do, how we do it, and more.. The challenge, like any master of their crafts, a lot is deliberately unable to be shared because if everyone knew how to do it, then their wouldn’t be any advantages, and sometimes things are so simple that people don’t value or understand the importance.

When I first started studying Tai Chi (which I went on to became a Gold Medallist at.. and teach), one of my “Masters” just said.. , “The Key is to remember to Breath”. It sounds simple and almost benign, but that comment understand by me after nearly 20 years, holds a different context and resonance.

So, why else should you listen to what I say.. and consider using our products like iPrioritize (available on the app store) and http://www.FreshForms.com

Check out what real world results you get from applying our free or low value products first. For everyone, I recommend getting iPrioritize – which for less than the price of a coffee you’ll see what’s possible.

People around the world who earn 6, 7, 8 figures and more come to me in person, via the web and skype for help and consulting on the businesses and life design. They know I mean what I say, and can do things in ways that most don’t think possible. This isn’t magic, just a result of Whole System Thinking and a great thirst for knowledge, relationships and real world experience resulting from my varied and diverse business and personal interests.

How often do we focus on things which we think are the most important, but that don’t produce the results we really want?

Often it’s possible to get fixated on a “barrier” or headache, that we think is the key problem we need to solve, and work harder and harder with less and less results.

In the last few days I spoke to over a dozen people in different industries and states of development (Including someone with international exposure and celebrity fans who hasn’t had the results they wanted for months and years) Again and again, the key take away was not lack of intelligence, skill or resources.

In the last month we have found and recruited 3 new key players to our team and the results we’re seeing internally are non-linear, i.e. they are a quanta forward in terms of elegeancy, efficacy and have provided a real foundation for what’s next.

That was only possibly through what my friend Graham calls “3D Thinking” or “Pi Thinking”.

Being able to get enough distant and perspective to see things differently, while remaining conscious of the Whole System nature of what is happening is an essential part of moving to a more “orchestrating”/”conducting” style of business.

We are 2 days into the launch of a friends product and it’s exciting to see the domino’s starting to fall. 2 months ago, the results that were planned for were far below what has happend and I think for any business producing turnover in excess of 25% of the normal annual turnover from one launch is good going, and we are not yet finished.

As we grow, we need to focus on what really matters, what will really make a difference, and it is not always the most “loud” to do item.

Over the next month or so we will be releasing a number of products and ideas which we hope will help people get to grips with this, and one of the linchpins of this will be iPrioritize (http://www.i-Prioritize.com) so please get on the early bird list on that site today => http://www.i-Prioritize.com

I am involved in over a dozen high priority projects and over a hundred projects that require ongoing contact and management. This has only been possible through specific methodologies that I was taught, mastered and developed.

I’m also clear that technology can be a blessing and a curse.

Currently as we move into November 2010, we’re reviewing how we operate as Psi Pi Group, on our projects, with partners and clients, and reviewing our overall strategy re Productivity, Prioritization and Optimization.

To that end, I will be sharing some of solutions that are proving invaluable and some of the aspects that are not. If there are specific aspects you would like me to explain, address then please ask or get in touch. I am also in a position to interview some of the top experts in the UK, US and abroad who will be sharing their insights some publicly and some “under nda” so their names will be kept secret, but the information will be tried and tested.

I am considering putting on a one day workshop for clients and those interested, if that’s you, then do get in touch.

The areas I intend to cover are:

Emails

Project Oversight

Relationship Building

Deal Negotiation

Time Management

“Balance”

The Merlin Method

The Success Spiral – Concepts of the real journey to success

Remember Start with the end in mind..

We are actively training and recruiting the next phase of consultants to work with Psi Pi Group, as currently we have more demand than we can handle. Training consists of underlying methodologies and practices and then applied projects first in-house then with clients.

If you would like to be invited for screening and selection, please contact us via Psi Pi Group – www.psipi.com

They say nothing happens for a reason, and as the exquisite craftmanship of La Cage Aux Folles in New York, delivered “I am what I am” at the end of the 1st half, I was inspired and so happy about the journey that has brought me here.

Being able to see and spend time with the people behind the glitz as a friend not a tourist was really beautfiul, as it revealed so many amazing things and showed that life is really an amazing possibility looking to unfold.

So last night was the “Last planned night in NYC”, But having launched http://everybodytweet.com at the #140Conf, Lynn personally invited me to stay on.. and for what magical surprise.. well this was it.. to come meet Frasier..

I actually had the most surprising performances and so well crafted,
watching real professionals and masters at their craft was a true blessing.
Especially watched through the eyes of Business, Psi Thinking, Flow, and so many other things
which have made this all possible.

Spell Binding.

It was the kind of evening that can’t be forgotten.
If you’re in NY – go so it..
If you’re not.. you should..

I’ll be going again next week..
