You’ll see that Sir Richard Branson is doing a great job through Virgin of showing by example great example of cross branding, ethical web marketing, adding value to customers, surprising, sharing and more.

The video is short but worth a watch and a lot of valuable ideas and models are shown in and through the video.

This included workshops, trainings, webinars, live events, public events, private events, and VIP events in London and around the world.

It’s exciting as we have been working on The Entrepreneurs’ Manifesto as part of The Entrepreneurs’ Revolution for many years and now are becoming allowed to reveal all we’ve been putting in place.

Last year, it wasn’t clear that the week would continue, and we did what we could to ensure it continued and built momentum.

You’ll start to see our trade mark phrases coming up more and more and the seeds we lay appearing in people’s blogs, ideas, and output.

The intention of collaboration and strategic alchemy is to produce optimal outcomes.

As these last few pieces come into form and activation, the promise of 1m/1m – creating one million millionaires and 1b/1b one billion billionaires starts to make more sense to many. It’s amazing to thing that some of these concepts date back hundreds of years and some many thousands.

I’m grateful for the acknowledgement and look forward to helping more people in coming months and years.

High Impact Award Global Entrepreneurship Week

It’s often the case that “As in one thing in all things” and the point that was brought up again and again, was the impact on technology to both leverage, and alter creativity.

The tv shows were – “Exit Through The Gift Shop” about Banksy and “Graffiti Wars” about Robbo (more of a “graffitti artist” now moving into Street Art”).

I’m not going to comment on the artistic or other nature of their work, or on the legality of what they do, however I do want to comment on the leverage aspect.

Originally man had his hands to make marks with, then a stick and the dirt, or mud and the walls. Over times this progressed to paintings and the emergence of a “spray can”, meant it was possible through technology to spread a message rapidly.

However it was still a fairly manual process. Tags and other “marks” developed which could be done quickly, but it was still a 1-1 experience. Each being similiar and yet unique. One of the skills was in the ability to keep things consistent over time.

Being able to use a stencil which has been around for many hundreds of years, but was new to this medium and changed the game.

Being able to take an image, get it how you want it once, and then repeat it add infinitum in many colours and variations is I feel a blessing and a course.

They say, repeating poor form will not produce perfection.

However, being able to make available to those without the “skill” required to accomplish something the same end result in a fraction of the time, and without the need for countless “distractions” can be a blessing.

Overall, the key is to be “creative” and to leverage technology to achieve your vision, that’s just my view.

What do I mean by Ethical Business?

Well it sounds obvious but in reality there is a big disconnect between common sense, and what occurs.

For me based on what I’ve seen over the last few decades, it’s clear that Ethical must include looking after the best interests of your customers and clients for the long run. It also includes looking after the well being of the wider community that the business operates inside of.

When every business owner, employee, and supplier realises that there is a holistic business world in which we all operate inside of, then there is a new opportunity to work more strategically and transparently.

If you have ever had to wait in for an engineer that has never arrived, or if you’ve ever heard an excuse from a supplier that really doesn’t take ownership for what has happened, then you’ve experienced the contrast.

There is an old phrase “Treat others as you would be treated”.

I look forward to the day when we all do this and it becomes our natural state and thoughts.

What reminds me of why I work the way I work, and care so much about the people, projects and resources I safeguard is the feedback from friends, family and clients. In some ways it’s the clients that mean the most.

Friends and Family are often doing things for many reasons, but for clients it’s a very simple deal.

Do they get value?

Do they get more value than they expected?

Are they delighted satisfied and coming back for more?

Tonight, I’ve had several really positive feedbacks and interactions with clients, that may in some ways be “small transactions”, but looking at the bigger context and the holistic view, these are major wins.

I’m just thankful for the opportunity to make the difference and add value.

Background:

The project relates to an existing business model, that had become dormant/stagnant. I was asked to upgrade it, and optimize it, with a view to making it “industrialised” so it can scale.
Project U has a target profit of in excess £1m per annum, and a team of less than 5 people at it’s core.

Project U works globally and is set to raise c. £10m+ for charity in the next 12-24 months.

Step 1

The first step is to conduct an opportunity audit ( a phrase coined by Paul Hutchins and myself), which sums up one of our core skills, seeing opportunities that others miss. It’s also important to really see what is so, as so often as they say in the book “Acres of Diamonds” what you are looking for is closer than you think. (Another friend calls this disruptive innovation).

In the case of Project U, the reality was:

1) nothing up to date – no brand, no website, no email list, nothing

2) experience that is unsurpassed – real depth and global interest

We’ll share more with the insiders at the next meeting (and those in WDS )

Step 2
By getting clear on the focus and goal which came naturally out of step 2, some immediate actions presented. Within two weeks, we have successfully rebranded, setup core functionalities for automation (leveraging our existing models and relationships)

We also have clear business models in place.

Step 3
Sales / Business goals – we agreed with our clients that for this to be scaleable, some clear business metrics had to be in place.

The numbers are 160 in the first time period. (T1)

Step 4
We started.

It’s all too easy to get stuck into planning. This is a strategic and tactical plan that we have refined over the last twenty years. We had no question it would work (the only question is time to get the plan operational, and budgets available to ensure it’s optimally executed first time around.

Yesterday – our first test was sent out.

The number already stands above expectations at 2 (including Italy and Canada)

I’ve been interested in the nature of food and nutrition and especially the impact on the mental state.

One of my friends has had to really look into this after having two sons both with Autism. He wasn’t happy with the conventional advice he received and using his passion for ancient history and his master level skill in cooking (he has worked as a top chef in many hotels worldwide), he was able to take what was being thought about to a different level. In fact if you meet his sons, it’s almost hard to believe that they are as impacted by Autism as the medical reports once declared after he has completely altered their diets and routines.

Celiac disease, also known as gluten intolerance, is a genetic disorder that affects at least 1 in 133  Americans. (say the web based statistics). What I know is that more and more people are becoming aware of their intolerances for gluten, lactose and other elements of the “conventional” human food chain.

When you start looking at the ingredients and what is really in a “healthy” meal it can be quite shocking.

I remember vividly cooking Thai Food in Chiang Mai and being blown away at how fresh, quick and simple it was. It tasted amazing, it only had fresh ingredients that we’d bought at the market that day. Result superb.

Back to the point.. Many shops now sell “Organic” food.. and many sell “Gluten Free”, what my friends have managed to do with out help is to bring about a range that is both Organic and Gluten Free. It will also be delivered to your door, thanks to a great courier arrangement.

These are freshly baked, hand made produce (the way Grandmother intended), with nothing unnecessary added.

They’ve also got a range of organic nuts that are amazing, and which are shipped out in their unique packaging – no plastic bags here.

Currently the UK is the first location, but we’re talking to parties in USA, and Australia about rolling out the brand but nothing in place yet (if you’re an investor, one to look at for sure).
